Semitic

As big as it is, the Indo-European language family doesn’t hold an exclusive right to my interest. I’ve developed an alternative love for the Semitic languages, especially the ancient members of the family, like Phoenician and Hebrew. This interest was fuelled by the writing of Why Q Needs U; it was a Semitic linguistic context that gave birth to the alphabet.
